The Pizza
What style is it?
Brooklyn Pizza Parlor offers New York style pizza — think large slices and thin crust. They’ve also got a grandma style pie called “Nonnah’s”. You can pick up individual slices for a few bucks if you don’t need a huge pizza.
Stuffed pizza is another option, and it’s how we first about out about them! However, I haven’t really had much of a desire to get another stuffed slice after my first try. I stuck with the regular slices and the occasional Nonnah’s slice instead.
According to their menu, they’ve been around over 25 years!
How’s the crust?
The Crust is thin and not particularly crispy. It usually holds up well but can get a little soft when you have a lot of meaty toppings.
How’s the sauce?
Nothing extra remarkable about the sauce — they give a good amount on each slice and we enjoy it!
How’s the cheese?
Cheese is reliably stringy and not too greasy — good stuff!
How are the toppings?
Topping are fresh and tasty, and they give you plenty to enjoy on each slice!

Taste
We keep coming back — this was our go-to spot for over a year!
Post-Meal Regrets (when dinner bites back)
I haven’t had anything to report in this category just yet. ๐

The PIC Verdict:
5 — Will go out of my way to visit again AND encourage others to do so as well
The In-Person Experience (what to expect)
First Thought:
“This looks interesting!”
Atmosphere
Relaxed vibe with a fireplace and some NYC theme decorations. The tables can be a little tight together, and it can be kind of loud when the place is full.
Great place for families, but perhaps not ideal for a quiet date night.

Ease of Ordering
Our favorite strategy is to call ahead and order our choices of individual slices for pickup. Then we’ll watch an episode of our current TV show choice in the car if we have a little free time!
They always have our order correct and ready to go right on time! We’ve never had to wait unreasonably long or go back to fix any mistakes.
Best to Call, Order Online, or Order in Person?
You can order from their website using ChowNow, but we’ve never tried it. Call-ahead is a reliably good experience, and ordering in person is just as good.
